A PUBLIC ASIAN - New book by ExStanislite
Dear Stanislites,
a great loss of Mr Terrence DLima, who was a classmate of mine through the 60's.
I left St. Stanislaus in '70 and moved on for my last years to other schools.
I had lost touch with him since the mid 70's when I left India.
May he be up there with HIM, THE LORD JESUS, enjoying beauty we can not yet imagine, like HE does.
When I get the inspiration & inclination I will write a hymn for him.
In '92 I caught up with many Ex+ Stanislites, Andreans, St Josephites & Carmelites at a Bandra schools
(boys/ girls) picnic in Toronto, Canada. I went for a few days from Sydney, Australia.
Fr. Aleu was there, he walked up behind me and picked me up by the hair.
Did I cuss and feel ashamed when I heard Fr. Alue's voice call me by my name & surname.
My 8th standard teacher Ms Linda nee Coelho is here in Sydney, but I haven't met her since
my drinking days last century.
From all my days of daze, I have put together " A PUBLIC ASIAN" which are my thoughts
in verse & rhyme, from 1969 to this time.
From "Putting More In A Lesson" which is an Eastern take on Western city societies goes
"One may befriend alcohol for the flavour, effect or as something to lean on, but although
you may enjoy it and often agree with the effects, it may not always agree with you". © EAR 2006
May he Rest In Peace. MY CLASS MATE
