Frank, I think that there
Frank, I think that there was also an older brother Harbans, who played in 1957. Do you remember the incident ,in a match versus St. Mary's where Sir Oliver had Kewal and Kondon switch places, as Kewal was heavily marked. The move paid off, and we went on to win the match, much to our opponent's surprise. Regds, Godfrey
Hi Godfrey, You are right.
Hi Godfrey,
You are right. Harbans was elder brother of Kewal & Kondon. I felt that the match was played verus Don Boscos where
Sir Oliver had Kewal & Kondon switch places.Kewal , who played right outer was switched to left outer. The opponent''s
left half who was to mark Kewal, did not know what to do & was looking to the stands for instructions.I also remember that
we scored very early in the game & then Sir told the boys to switch to thier original places.Sir was a great coach .The players
from the other schools, who came under his wings while playing for the Bombay University Football Team admitted that
St. Stanislaus was very fortunate to have a coach like Sir Oliver Andrade.
