Class of 1977 and Junior College Class of 1979 Reunion

Class of 1977 and Junior College Class of 1979 met on 14th July 2009 at Bandra Gym. We had a great time and even sang the School anthem.

Back Ashore
Good evening Gents,
It appears you all had a great time at the Bandra Gym. You guys have not aged a bit! I am ashamed to send on a snapshot of myself! However in some cases I have noticed the expanding waistlines!
I am back to a shore job after a fairly long time at sea!
For those who still remember me, I am in Cork-Ireland and in constant contact with Uday the third tallest in the class after Lionel Smith and Clive Crasto!
Anyway I am with the Dept. Of Transport and work in Dublin. For those in the 'marine world' I am part of the dreaded team of surveyors who examine the candidates for their exams!
Recently met with Vijay and his lovely family.
Keep in contact when time permits. I look forward to hearing from you all.

what sex is a computer
A student asked, "What gender is 'computer'?" Instead of giving the answer, the teacher split the class into two groups, male and female, and asked them to decide for themselves whether "computer" should be a masculine or a feminine noun. Each group was asked to give four reasons for its recommendation.
The men's group decided that "computer" should definitely be of the feminine gender ("la computer"), because:
1. No one but their creator understands their internal logic; 2. The native language they use to communicate with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else; 3. Even the smallest mistakes are stored in long term memory for possible later retrieval; 4. As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself spending half your pay check on accessories for it.
(No chuckling... this gets better!)
The women's group, however, concluded that computers should be Masculine ("el computer"), because:
1. In order to do anything with them, you have to turn them on; 2. They have a lot of data but still can't think for themselves; 3. They are supposed to help you solve problems, but half the time they ARE the problem; and 4. As soon as you commit to one, you realize that if you had waited a little longer, you could have gotten a better model.
The women won.

Are you saying that Lionel Smith was in the Junior College Harvey? He is
based in Dubai and owns a air freight company.Clive Crasto lives in Canada.

Hi Gerry, Yes! did go to STANISLAUS JUNIOR COLLEGE (with one extra year intense study) and thereafter got myself into ST.XAVIER'S too. If that answers your question.
Must say that little education helped in some way.
Cheers and hope to see you in Bombay in the third week of October. Geese! didnt know about the 1979 reunion at the Bandra Gym, I am just 2.5 hours away, would have definitely made it. Anyway, dont forget to inform me next year.

I Guess old age is catching up. I am just blank about you attending JC.
I did not even know you went to Xavier's...and we grew up together. I
guess that was the age we lost touch with each other, I stayed at 5'9"
and you shot up to 6'8" :)
