Old Boys - LOL

With Due Respect to Mr. Fonseca. It would help if someone provides him a few talking points.

AKA we are not old boys - ALUMNI, THE GLOBAL NETWORK OF STANISLITES.

THE STANISLITE PORTAL THAT CONNECTS THE DISPORA.

Can we get the timesofindia reporter to do another article? This time takes viewpoints from Alumni from abroad?

We need to act on multiple levels...

... and network with other interest groups in Bandra. This must not be perceived as a St Stanislaus "thing", the newspaper article could create that impression. Potential danger is one of complacency from other interest groups "Oh! The St Stanislaus alumni are already working on this".

A. Gain grass-root involvement - Let citizens have a voice to this. A silent, peaceful protest march to the appropriate authorities -- or on the school grounds could help focus. Use SHAANDAAR evening as a launch... PS! Work with other interest groups to get police clearance and secure logistics for a march, it must be orderly.

B. Start a campaign for alternatve suggestions - There is evidently a problem that the proposed action is trying to resolve. No matter how cockeyed the proposed solution is, it is the only one that is out there. Presenting 1-2 options increases the scope of discussions. One could start with a brainstorming for ideas and collate these to be detailed.

C. Mobilise PR and pressure-groups - Getting to the right decision makers quickly is important. I read that John Joseph is informed/involved. Suggest there should be a meeting with him with the aim of securing at least 1 follow-up meeting. The content for these 2 meetings could come as a result from the activities above. Involving any decision-influencers is just as important.

This topic is too serious to let politicians and civil servant decide on their own..... Comments??
